So this is where I spent last Friday!
I'll let the pictures do the talking...
*Yohan Blake....swoon
What an amazing day and a wonderful Olympics,
thank you to all the brilliant volunteers and all the Athletes of course!
*ps. I seem to have developed a teensy bit of a crush on Yohan Blake...lush!
Oh you lucky thing. My brother and his wife were lucky enough to be at the women's boxing quarter, semi's and finals to support Katie Taylor. They said the atmosphere around was brilliant and that the volunteers and transport were excellent. My two daughters and I are going to the paralympics to some of the athletics in early September and can't wait.
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time! Lucky girl!
DeleteAwesome. Tell me, what is that tall red structure? It looks like a crazy roller coaster....that I would never ride.
ReplyDeleteYou were/are a part of history!! How wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a day of competition you got to see. How totally amazing!
ReplyDeleteLisa x
You were so lucky. Ive never been a big sports fan, but my son is sports mad and ensured that we were in the Lifeboat Inn at strategic points of the holiday. The atmosphere when Jess Ennis, Mo Farrah and Usain Bolt won was amazing! Its been a big part of our lovely holiday. And we pee in a bucket that gets thrown into the hedge ! If everbody does it it looks as if it is good for the foliage!!! PS I'll email you about the whole Ayr site only booking weeks in the summer malarkey as it is a bit weird. xxxx
ReplyDeleteAhahah I just posted similar pictures today about Saturday night at the Stadium! It was unbelievable, I have never experienced anything like it!

ReplyDeletePara minha sorte 2016 é aqui no Rio de Janeiro. Pretendo também assistir algo grandioso. Que será tão fantástico quanto Londres.
